Telephone calls from patients will not generally be put through to doctors. Our reception staff are happy to take messages or assist you with any general questions regarding your healthcare. If you have a medical question after seeing one of our doctors, you can speak with the nurses and she will discuss your concerns with the doctor. Normally our nurses will return your call later the same day. If you have an urgent medical problem then one of our nurses will put you directly to one of our doctors. Emails and facsimiles are reviews on the daily basis.

If you have had a comprehensive number of blood tests\x-rays it is essential to make an appointment with the responsible doctor, so that you will fully understand what tests are being performed and the results.

 

 

 

A single result may be passed onto you over the telephone, but be aware that the reception staff are not medically qualified to discuss the significance of the findings.

All our medical records are treated as confidential documents.

 

No information will be passed on to another person or organisation unless we have your written permission.

 

If you move to another area or decide to leave the practice your full details can be sent to a doctor of your choice, again with your written permission.

If you experience any difficulties with our services, please discuss this with one of our doctors or the practice manager.
